Which brands do we work with and why?
We only work with responsible fashion brands making quality clothes made to last, and with a proven record of being in the forefront of sustainability. And still strive to become even more sustainable. We go through four criteria below with all brands in our brand list.
1. Materials:
At least 50% of textile items are made from more sustainable materials, such as organic cotton, tencel, linen, recycled materials or dead stock materials.
2. Production processes:
At least 75% of collections are made in countries with low risk working conditions (such as EU) or in factories that have a certification including requirements for working conditions (such as GOTS, fair trade or living wage programs).
3. Animal welfare:
We believe that the lives of animals should be respected. We don’t accept any brands that use animal produce unless it comes naturally from them such as mulesing free wool.
4. Overall commitment to sustainability:
All the brands we accept have a clear commitment to become even more sustainable. They prove this with their sustainability strategies and reports. We monitor this development and are in constant contact with these brands.

From: Denmark
MINI A TURE dresses children aged 0-12 years in high-performance and comfortable outerwear inspiring them to outdoor adventures, regardless of the season and the weather.
The company was founded in Copenhagen in 2002, and the outerwear is the result of more than 20 years of true craftmanship, free from any identified harmful substances or endocrine disruptors and is made from certified and almost only recycled materials.

Papu
From: Finland
Papu was established in 2012 , with collections around stories and illustrations. Papu started originally a a kidswear brand, but the focus has shifted to women’s wear.

VARG

Varg is born out of longing for the authentic Scandinavian emotion. Yearning for functional clothes for the adventures of life. Careful and respectful of our environment. The mix between the rugged sporty and clearly Scandinavian design makes Varg unique.
Mainio
From: Finland
Mainio is a brand in the forefront of sustainable kids wear. It is the only clothing brand in Finland to have achieved GOTS certification for all of its operations.
Mainio was the first pilot brand for Ninyes, and our collaboration has continued since then. In April 2022, we launched a secondhand product feed on Mainio website - it is now possible to see both new and secondhand clothes on Mainio online store.

globe hope
From: Finland
Globe Hope is a pioneer in recycling textiles, was established in 2003 by a Finnish designer Seija Lukkala, with the idea of creating timeless design products out of textile waste. The company’s values are based on ethical, sustainable, and fair actions. The main objective at Globe Hope is to offer consumers a sustainable alternative that does not require the use of new materials.
Approximately 96 % of Globe Hope’s products are made from recycled and surplus materials such as recycled cotton, recycled polyester and surplus leather. The company also utilizes used car seatbelts, advertising banners, sails, and disposable event carpets. Globe Hope cherishes long and stable supplier relations, and most of the production is located in EU countries such as Lithuania, Estonia and Finland. The clothes are mainly manufactured in Bangladesh under controlled conditions.
MYSSY
From: Finland
Myssyfarmi is a farm-based design company from Pöytyä, Finland. Every Myssy is knitted by a real Myssy Grandma in Pöytyä. Myssyfarmi gets their unique hand-dyed yarn from a local herd of Finnsheep. Everything is organic and original in our farm and nothing is cool in Pöytyä. Except when winter hits these parts.
Finnsheep wool. All of Myssyfarmi garments are made from Finnsheep wool, produced in conjunction with Myssyfarmi's responsible partners. Similar in softness to Merino, the fiber's overlapping scales point inward making the yarn particularly soft, and in our opinion, there is no finer wool in the world!
Myssyfarmi yarns are spun at their home turf in Finland in the few remaining spinning mills as well as hand-dyed at their farm. The delicate process preserves the wool’s natural grease, lanolin, which makes our products naturally water and dirt resistant.
